Homemade wine project #2

As time ticks away for my departure to Australia, it was time for me to bottle the carboy of Merlot from 2010 that I still had sitting downstairs in the cold cellar. This wine was the remnants of lees collected from barrels last harvest and with no home at the winery I gladly decided to take it home and nurture it into a fine wine.
One empty carboy, coarse filtration done.

Lots of hoses going everywhere, but i know what i am doing! Sterile filtration is now done, no more yeasts in this wine.
Good deal on corks, thanks dad!

Finished product. Hands off family.

This batch was much smaller than the other wines I have made at 14 bottles but might be the tastiest in a few years.
