Day 1-2 Melbourne

We landed in Melbourne and immediately got into our rental car and drove on the wrong side of the road, needless to say I didn't kill anyone. No scratches, no dents, 3 wrong turns, one wrong side of the road, two detours and 2 hours later we found our hotel, The bloomfield. It was a beautiful day and a walk in the city really showed us how beautiful the city is. There is so much nature around the city, huge parks and grass lands everywhere. There are people running and biking everywhere you look. The best thing is motorcycle parking is litterally anywhere you want to park on the curb for FREE!!!!

In this picture im standing at the war monument for the great war, this building has been there since the 1700's and has this loud mega phone thing that sounds when you walk up the path and scared the poop out of me.

The food is similar pricing except for pop (soda) its expensive, like 2 dollars a can. We walked around for 3 hours and then decided that we would go to the aquarium.  We walked down the street and right into the peguins at the Melbourne Aquarium. This place was amazing, they have the largest fresh water shark collection in the WORLD!!!

My favorite was the jellyfish, they were in this dark enclosure room with a nice light shinning on them and it made for such a cool picture I'm sure you'll agree. I have about 300 more photos just from the aquarium that I will be bring home with me. We finished this day with a nice big homemade hamburger at a bar along the Yarra river that runs through the center of Melbourne.
